Dog training in the Upper North Shore

Built for real life with your dog

Great training isn’t about controlling your dog. It's about understanding them.

Our dog training lessons on Sydney’s Upper North Shore give you and your pup the tools and confidence to handle everyday moments together, calmly and confidently. Our goal is to reach that magical moment when everything clicks, and you and your dog truly understand each other.

Our approach to training

We believe training should feel good on both ends of the leash. Our training methodology is guided by two core principles: understanding the whole dog in front of us and using ethical, science-based methods (not cruel or outdated techniques from decades past).

Every dog has a story.

Their genetics, breed traits, routines, environment, health, stress levels and past experiences all play a role in how they learn and behave.

We take the time to understand the whole picture, not just the behaviours you want to change. By uncovering the “why” behind your dog’s behaviour, we can create training plans that are fair, realistic and tailored to your dog.

Built on trust and backed by science.

Dog training has come a long way. Old-school methods often relied on control, fear or punishment to stop unwanted behaviours. But we now know dogs learn their best when they feel safe and understood.

Our force-free, positive reinforcement approach is grounded in modern behavioural science. Instead of focusing on what we don’t want, we teach your dog what to do, in a way that actually makes sense to them.

Outcomes you can expect

Walks that feel calm and controlled

A dog who comes when you call them… the first time

Less jumping, barking and chaos at the door

A pup who knows how to relax when you need downtime

A deeper bond with your dog so you feel like true partners

Confidence knowing you can handle challenges together

Day training is ideal if you want real progress without needing to do all the hands-on work yourself. One of our professional trainers works directly with your dog during the day, then guides you on how to maintain that progress at home.

WHAT IT INCLUDES:

How it works:

Your dog spends focused time with a trainer three days per week for four weeks. Sessions may take place in your home, neighbourhood or real-life environments like trails, parks or stores. Each day includes structured training sessions, enrichment and breaks to keep your dog engaged and happy.

You’ll receive written updates (complete with photos and videos) so you know exactly what your dog worked on. Once a week, we’ll meet in person for a hands-on transfer session to give you the skills and confidence to continue your dog’s training at home.
